Elaine O’Grady Greenan  | Elaine O’Grady began her dancing career at the age of five in the Peter Smith School of Irish Dancing. Elaine won many competition and championship titles at local feisanna including First Place in the Oireachtas in 1971, 1972, and 1974. She was also a frequent competitor at the World Championships in both solo and teams events. Elaine passed her TCRG in 1995 and joined the McLoughlin School that same year. Her daughter Victoria was already learning dancing in the school and achieving major success including placement at the All Ireland and World Championships. Elaine opened the Allendale, NJ branch of the school when her and her family moved there in 1998. |
