Karen Early- Conway  |
Karen began her dancing career at an early age with the Peter Smith School of Irish Dancing and when her sister Patsy in 1968 opened her own school she continued there. Karen won many championship titles at local feisanna and competed on a number of occasions at the World Championships in Ireland Karen passed her TCRG in 1995 and joined her sister Patsy and brother Jimmy at the Early - McLoughlin School. She also the same year opened the Fairlawn branch of the school. As well as being an accomplished dance teacher Karen is a highly accomplished fiddle player and together with her musical partner Kevin Forde is highly sought after to play at feisanna country- wide. Karen serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Mid Atlantic Region of the IDATNA and holds the office of Sergeant at arms. |
