SUMMER CLASS SCHEDULE
6 summer classes will be held on Tuesday evenings in St. Mary’s on Washington Avenue, in Dumont for Pre-Beginners through Championship level at 5:00, starting Tuesday, July 7th and continuing through Tuesday, August 11th. You only pay for each class you attend. FEES WILL BE $20, payable in cash. Please bring your payment in an envelope, labeled with your child’s name, at each class.
- Tuesday: July 7, 14, 21, 28
- Tuesday: August 4, 11
- Time for all pre-beginner, beginner, advanced beginner and novice will be 5pm start.
These classes are great to help keep the dancer practicing their material and also so as to not forget their steps. They can help a child to advance a little in material they might not yet have mastered. They are very useful if your child plans on competing in competitions during the summer months. Also, if you know of someone who has a child thinking about starting lessons, these classes help them and we, as teachers, ascertain their readiness and it gives them a head start on September. Lastly, anyone competing at Championship level or is planning on competing in the Regional Oireachtas should be attending these classes. At this level of competition, one cannot afford to take the summer off.
RE-REGISTRATION for 2015-2016
Registration letters will be emailed shortly to everyone. Please return your registrations in June ASAP so as to take advantage of the discount offered. This assists us in planning for September classes and guarantees your place in fall classes. Thank you for your cooperation. ** Please let us now if you’d like additional registrations for any other children you know that might be interested in Irish Dance lessons.**
SCHOOL FEIS - SUNDAY OCT. 4 - This is the ONLY School function that we need and require every family with an entry to donate some time to help with the running of this as it is such a huge undertaking - We especially need a few volunteers to do the shopping for the kitchen supplies - more information will be coming soon - thank you in advance for your cooperation
We will be again offering grade exams at our feis this year. We will be working with the dancers to help them prepare for these exams.
